RoboCup Junior is Western Australia’s biggest robotics competition; the culmination of months of tinkering, building and testing as students compete in three epic robotic challenges.

Described as the ‘Robotics Olympics’, over 600 primary and secondary school students from metro and regional schools converged on Curtin Stadium to put their robots to the test.

David and G, runners-up on the television show LEGO Masters, joined students to talk mechanical and technical skills with a LEGO display.

The event is presented by Scitech in partnership with Rio Tinto, with additional support from the RoboCup Junior WA Committee and Platinum National Sponsor, Modern Teaching Aids.
