SOLDER Summer Camp
SOLDER Summer Camp provides high school aged students with an introduction to a range of modern technologies such as 3D printing, coding and electronics—all vital skills for the future.
The camp runs across two days during the December school holidays. In a relaxed setting, ‘makers’ get hands-on and build their own robot with their own custom 3D printed avatar.
The projects are open to allow makers to drive the direction they want to go. At the end of the camp, makers will get to take home their creation, and continue programming it and making different creations!
This is best suited for 12 to 17-year-olds as it uses text-based programming but it’s not exclusive to this age bracket. However, the program may be challenging for children under 10 years of age.
