Meet the Museum: Are spiders and scorpions spooky?
Halloween would tell us they are – but are spiders, spiderwebs and scorpions really spooky?
No, says Dr Mark Harvey is WA Museum Boola Bardip’s senior curator and expert in Arachnids (spiders and scorpions) and Myriapods (millipedes and centipedes). In fact, he thinks they are amazing, remarkable and the coolest creatures on the planet.
He’s also named over 800 species, including the Draculoides bramstokeri and Tyrannochthonius rex.
Join Mark as he delves into the world of these amazing and vitally important creatures.
