Future Climate and Food in WA

Presented by Eleanor Chaos

Future Climate and Food in WA

Western Australia’s climate is changing. Food production, availability and quality will be affected by our climate. This means food producers and consumers must continue to adapt.

Learn about how the climate has already changed in WA and hear about future predictions. Find out the ways our local agriculture and water sectors have responded and ponder the idea of what will be on our supermarket shelves in 2050.

Presented by Dr Ian Foster from the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.

This event is presented as part of National Science Week 2018 and received grant funding from the Australian Government.

Presented by City of Swan and Switch Your Thinking.

This is a free event, but registration is essential
