This is a free night of science, surprise and fun!

Hosted by superstar astrophysicist, Dr Alan Duffy, the FameLab national finals return to showcase the best and brightest science research from up-and-coming researchers of Australia. Come and watch as science communicators from across the nation go head-to-head in a battle of wits and science as they only have three minutes to present their work.

Have you ever wondered if we’ll be able to live on Mars? Or if 3D printing could be the second industrial revolution? Join us at this free event for an exciting snapshot into the world of science, engineering, maths and technology as some of the country’s most captivating researchers explain fascinating concepts like these in an unpredictable and enlightening way!

Presentations will be judged by media professionals, renowned scientists, public figures and even you! Judging criteria is according to FameLab’s 3C’s: content, clarity and charisma.

Come on down for a night of unpredictability and humour for Australia’s best science communication competition.
